それ以上遠くに行くなら240円の切符買うか、駅にある発着駅証明書出して、着駅で精算しろという二度手間スタイル。

比較的近いところでは京都府南部の加茂駅以東は電車が走れず気動車運行になる、というのがある。

因みに全ての鉄道路線で電車が走れる都道府県は東京・神奈川・大阪・奈良・沖縄の5都府県だけ。意外に少ない。
